Janmashtami Celebration at Grizzly Vidyalaya

Koderma - Grizzly Vidyalaya , located near Tilaiya Dam, celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm in the school's auditorium. The program began with CEO Prakash Gupta, Principal Aparna Sinha, Coordinator Tushar Roy Choudhary, and children performing a traditional puja and offering butter to the deity of Lord Krishna. Following this, Lord Krishna was placed in a swing (jhula) and celebrated.

In his address, CEO Prakash Gupta extended Janmashtami greetings and emphasized that Lord Krishna's life teaches us the importance of following the path of truth and performing our duties without expecting rewards. He encouraged everyone to work with honesty and dedication to achieve success in life.

Principal Aparna Sinha mentioned that Lord Krishna's teachings continue to guide those who have strayed from the right path and demonstrate the way of humanity. During the event, students dressed as Radha and Krishna captivated the audience. The cultural program featured a group dance portraying Yashoda Maiya and the enchanting dance of Lord Krishna, which left the spectators spellbound and made the program truly memorable.

Teacher Falguni Pandey managed the stage, and the successful execution of the program was due to the efforts of Program Coordinator Alpana Srivastava, along with teachers Reena Huda, Sweta Prakash, Sarika Devi, Rimi Chatterjee, Neha Barnwal, Veena Bhadani, Priya Kumari, Khushbu Khatoon, Madhulika, Preeti Kaur, Khushbu Singh, and the entire school family."

    14th National Open Taekwondo Championship, securing 10 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze medals in their name.

    The students of Grizzly Vidyalaya located at Tilaiya Dam have set a new record by delivering a splendid performance in the 14th National Open Taekwondo Championship and the second Bhagwan Birsa Munda Trophy competition, bringing glory to their school throughout the state. The students have clinched a total of 10 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals. Among the gold medalists are Dilnavaz Sheikh, Himanshu Kumar, Samar Pratap Singh, Sanjeet Kumar, Abhikant Kumar, Moazzam Danish, Kaushal Mandal, Mayank Yadav, Aditya Kumar Singh, and Raj Prajapati. The silver medalists include Tejas Yadav, Parth Singh, Anmol Kumar, Akshat Gupta,Aditya Dubey, and Kumar Aditya Pratap. The bronze medalists are Mayank Kumar, Satish Kumar, and Divyanshu Kumar. This competition was organized by the Taekwondo Federation of India under the auspices of the Jharkhand Taekwondo Association at the Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium in Khelgaon from September 2nd to 4th. The students of Grizzly Vidyalaya represented the Jharkhand state team in this competition, where approximately 1000 athletes from all over the country participated. In this competition, the Jharkhand team secured the first position and emerged as the champions, while the Andhra Pradesh team secured the second position, and the Odisha team secured the third position. During this competition, the students were accompanied by their coach Dilip Kumar and team manager Bhuneshwar Das. It is worth noting that before participating in this competition, the students had also participated in the 23rd Jharkhand State Sub-Junior Taekwondo Championship held in Dhanbad, where they had won a total of 17 gold and 8 silver medals.
