NTA – National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE 2027)
This is hereby notified to all students of Class XII that the online application process for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE 2027) has commenced. The examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by NIFT.
Interested students aspiring to pursue careers in fashion, design and technology are advised to apply online within the prescribed timeline.
Details of the Examination
• Eligibility: Students who have passed or are appearing in the Class XII (10+2) examination from a recognized board are eligible to apply for B.Des, subject to the prescribed eligibility criteria. For B.F.Tech, Mathematics is required in Class XII.
• Last Date for Application (without late fee): 16 November 2026
• Last Date with Late Fee: 21 November 2026
• Entrance Examination Date: 10 January 2027
• Mode of Examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT) for GAT and Pen-and-Paper-Based Test (PBT) for CAT, as applicable to the programme.
• Application Fee:
o Open/General, OBC-NCL and EWS: โน2,000 for one programme.
o SC/ST/PwD/PwBD: โน500 for one programme.
o For two programmes: โน3,000 and โน750, respectively, for the above categories..

How to Fill the NIFTEE 2027 Online Application Form
1. Keep the required documents ready, including a recent photograph, signature, identity proof, educational details and applicable category or disability certificates.
2. Visit the official website: https://exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/
3. Click on the relevant NIFTEE 2027 registration link for UG programmes.
4. Complete the new candidate registration and note down the application number and login credentials.
5. Log in and fill in the personal, educational and other required details.
6. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format and size.
7. Carefully review the application form before final submission.
8. Pay the applicable examination fee online.
9. Download and print the confirmation page of the successfully submitted application form for future reference.
